Ronald L. Mullen, 79 of Chicora, PA. died Saturday, December 25, 2021 in the Chicora Medical Center. He was born May 29, 1942 in West Homestead, Pittsburgh, PA. the son of Kenneth B. and Margaret A. (Lewis) Mullen.
He married Wilma Ann May (George) Mullen on Saturday, May 29, 1965, who died April 23, 2018.
He was a machinist working for US Steel in Pittsburgh until the plant closed, and later retired from Heckett Engineering in Butler, PA. He was a member of the Chicora Senior Center where he spent many enjoyable hours with friends.
He was a veteran of US Navy serving in Vietnam.from 1965 – 1967.
Surviving are:
a son Ronald J. (Julie) Mullen of Hendersonville, North Carolina
2 daughters: Jennifer (Glenn) Telford of Warrenton, Virginia.
Jacqueline (William) Kyle of Darlington, PA.
6 grandchildren
2 great-grandchildren
2 sisters: Arleen K. and Joseph Lusnak, Homestead, PA.
Mary Lou Walker, Summerset, PA
He is preceded in death by His wife, a brother: Kenneth W. Mullen and his wife June H. (Spangler) Mullen and brother-in-law: Forest Eugene Walker
Private services are officiated by Reverend John Pistorius, Pastor of Christ’s Family Church in
Chicora, PA.
Full Military Honors will be provided by Chicora and Brady’s Bend American Legions
