Ralph Texter, 67, of West Sunbury, Pennsylvania died suddenly Friday, December 11, 2020 of natural causes. He was born in Butler, PA Thursday, September 24, 1953 the son of the late Melvin E. Texter and the late Viola Grace Long Texter.
He worked as a welder in Pullman Standard until the plant closed, and then worked and retired from the Butler Auto Auction. He loved and worshiped his children and grand-children. He was an excellent woodcarver, and was, also, well known for oil wells.
He is survived by a daughter, Raquel Texter Tridico of Carnegie PA. A son, Jared A. and Angela Texter of Pleasantville, PA. 3 grandchildren: Ty Alan Texter, Zoe Renee Texter, and Michael Julius Randolf. A brother, Aaron and Kathy Texter of Corryton, Tennessee. A Sister, Marsha and Ken Ligas of Bozeman, Montana, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a brother Charles Texter who died May 10, 2016, and Charles' twin sister Cheryl Grove who died December 18, 2014.
Because of the Corona Virus there is no public visitation. A private funeral service will be conducted by Reverend John Pistorius, Pastor of Christ's Family Church, 334 W. Slippery Rock Street, Chicora, Pennsylvania 16025. Private visitation for family only from 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020.
A private burial will be in West Freedom Cemetery. Clarion County, West Freedom, Pennsylvania.
