Kenneth James MacRae, Jr. fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was born on January 25, 1951 and is lovingly known as Jim and Uncle Jim by his family and friends. He was dearly loved by all who knew him. Jim was a faithful employee until his retirement at Goodwill in Southside, PA. In his spare time, he loved to go bowling, play cards, make potholders, and play electronic games such as Yahtzee and Blackjack. Jim loved to sing. He was a man prone to deep contemplation and had a brilliant mind. Most of all Jim loved to spend time with those he loved.
Jim was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kenneth and Virginia MacRae, and his sister, Mary McAdams. Jim is survived by his brother-in-law: Jeff (Michele) McAdams, nieces: Leann (Nevin) Lawson, Lora (Pat) Stimel, nephews: Caleb Gardone, Braydan Gardone, and nieces: Brooklynne Stimel, Sophia Lawson as well as cherished cousins and loving friends. Along with his stories, love, and thoughtfulness, Jim will be dearly missed. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers of Sunnyview Nursing Home for their exceptional care.
Friends and relatives will be received Friday, August 20th, at 11 am in the chapel at Mount Royal Cemetery, 2700 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw, PA 15116, with Reverend Steven Conklin officiating.
