John Grose Obituary
John K. Grose, age 73, of Karns City, PA, died peacefully Wednesday, December 9, in Washington, PA. of Covid 19. He was born Monday, June 23, 1947 to the late Kenneth R. Grose and the late Mary Maxine Green Grose.
He was a 1965 graduate of Karns City High School, after which he attended Point Park University. He never lost his love of music and was a musician, composer and enjoyed tuning pianos. He was a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Chicora; and a member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
He is survived by a sister, Christine and Bill Snyder; a brother, James and Cathy Grose; a niece Machele Snyder, 3 nephews: Bud Snyder, Jamie Grose, and Justin Grose, and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
A private Mass of Christian Burial for John K. Grose who died Wednesday, December 9, 2020, will be officiated by Father Matt McClain. and is under the direction of STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Main and East Slippery Rock Streets, Chicora, PA.
