Chad M. Neff, 36, of Carbon Center, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 9, 2008 morning at his home.
Born Jan. 10, 1972, in Butler, he was the son of Benjamin Neff of Chicora, PA and the late Linda Marie Thomas Neff.
He worked at St. Vincent DePaul in Butler, PA.
He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Oakland. An outdoor person, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Brown Neff, who he married Dec. 21, 2004; two daughters, Diamond and Larissa Brown, both at home; a son, Austin Neff at home; a sister, Tracy Brink and her husband, Tyrone, of Chicora; two brothers, Patrick Neff of Butler and Brian Neff and his wife, Crystal, of Chicora; his father of Chicora; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
NEFF- Friends of Chad M. Neff, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Steighner Funeral Home, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman CatholicChurch, North Oakland, with the Rev. David DeWitt officiating.
Following cremation, burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
