Alice H. (Zanella) Sita

Alice H. Sita, 85, of Chicora, died at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Butler Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.
After graduation, she worked four years at the Spade Shirt Factory in Butler during World War II. She then worked for Gaisfords Pharmacy in Chicora for another four years.
 
She was a member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora and a member of the Altar-Rosary Society of the church. She enjoyed reading an doing crossword puzzles.
 
Born March 8, 1926 in Donegal Township, Chicora, PA to:

Father: Flori Zanella

She married Samuel J. Sita on October 17, 1959.

Friends are received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday; November 13, 2011 at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, downtown Chicora at 111 E. Slippery Rock Street and Main Street.
A celebration of life mass will be at Mater Dolorosa Church, 409 Main Street, Chicora at 11 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2011, by Reverend Joseph Pudichery, pastor of Mater Dolorosa and St. Joseph Churches.
Interment will follow in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora, PA.
