Obituary
William Robert Crilley, 42, of Chicora died peacefully at 11:10 a.m. Saturday, surrounded by his loving family at VA Butler Healthcare following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born Sept. 4, 1973, in Natrona Heights, the son of William Raymond Crilley and Sharon Skufca Crilley.
He was a self-employed carpenter, and he was a member of the Tarentum Church of Christ.
Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines for four years from Oct. 28, 1991, to Oct. 27, 1995, serving in the Persian Gulf War.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Crilley of Chicora; his daughter, Amanda Crilley of Chicora; his son, Shawn Crilley of Chicora; his stepson, Justin Zang of Chicora; and his parents, Sharon and William Crilley of Lower Burrell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Shawn Crilley, and his sister, Shannon Crilley.
CRILLEY - Friends of William Robert Crilley, who died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. Funeral services with military honors by the Bantam Marine Det. 743 will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Johnson of the Tarentum Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, his family asked that donations be made in Bill's memory to P.O. Box 386, Chicora, PA 16025, in care of Cindy Crilley.
