Obituary

Samuel J. Sita, 80, of Chicora , PA. died at 7:50 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 in Sunnyview Home, Butler , PA. following an illness.

He was a U.S. NAVY veteran who honorably and proudly served our country from November 12, 1952 to November 9, 1956 during the Korean War. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Navy Occupation Service Medal.

Sam worked at INDSPEC, Petrolia , PA retiring in 1992 after 30 years of service.  He was a member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, Chicora and the Altar-Rosary Society of the Church.  He was, also, a member of the Chicora V.F.W. and enjoyed  many sports like: Football, Baseball, Basketball and gardening.

Born in East Brady, February 24, 1932, he was the son of the late:

Mother: Annie Infantino Sita.

Wife: Alice Zanella Claypoole Sita

Married: October 17, 1959
