Rose Marie Leech Snyder, of Fenelton, Pennsylvania,  age 79 died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Butler Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. Born in Butler October 11, 1938 to Albin M. and Mary Gladys Benson Leech.

She was employed as a unit clerk at Butler Memorial Hospital for 44 years, and a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center. She married Thomas A. Snyder who died  Monday, October 23, 2013.

Rose is survived by a brother John L. Leech of Chicora, 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Friends received at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, Downtown Chicora, Pennsylvania from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2018. A mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Saint Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center, with Father Matt McClain officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Clearfield Road, Fenelton, PA.
