Rebecca L. McCarthy
Rebecca L. McCarthy of Butler, formerly of Karns City and Chicora, passed away unexpectedly Friday at her home.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse in a nursing home in Hamburg, Pa.
She attended the Church of God of Prophecy, Karns City.
Rebecca was born in Allegheny County, Aug. 8, 1955, to John McCarthy and Losetta Lewis McCarthy Adams. She was raised in Karns City and Chicora.
She is survived by her daughter, Tessa Kepple and husband, Frank, of Karns City; two grandchildren, Morgan McElravy of Karns City and Kendra Kepple of Karns City; sisters, Stacey Bowser and her husband, James, of Butler and Lori McCarthy Snyder of Chicora; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Cynthia Dietrich; triplet infants, Keith McCarthy, Kevin McCarthy and Kim McCarthy; and stepfather, Anthony Adams.
MCCARTHY - Memorial services for Rebecca L. McCarthy, who passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God of Prophecy, 1510 Kittanning Pike, Karns City, with the Rev. O.J. Roudebush, associate pastor, officiating. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Cremains will be interred in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
