R. Victor O'Donnell, 93, of Chicora, Pennsylvania, died at 1:00 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 in VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

He held several jobs including teamster for a saw mill, earning $1.00 per day; Rainbow Rubber, Bantam Car Company, Valvoline Refinery, school bus driver, A&P Grocery, Montgomery Ward and retired from PENRECO in Petrolia in 1982 where he was the Chief Electrician for over 31 years.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Herman, PA, the Holy Name Society of the church and he was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Butler.
He was a member of the Tanglewood Senior Center, Butler, the Chicora Senior Center and the AARP.

He loved telling stories, repairing things, playing cards and grew Christmas trees for 35 years.
Vic and his wife are the parents of 8 children and is the last surviving member of his immediate family.
