Obituary
Nancy J. Campbell, 81, of Chicora passed away Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.
She was born in Freeport on Jan. 23, 1933, the daughter of the late Floyd L. Burns and Vernie Fox Burns.
She retired from Penn Drake Credit Union in 1994 after 19 years of service.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicora.
She married Lyle Campbell on Jan. 14, 1955. He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 2010.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Rankin and her husband, Robert, of Butler, and Diane Orton of Parker; her sons, Bruce Campbell and his wife, Sue, and Roger Campbell, all of Chicora; her seven grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jack Burns of Brunswick, Ohio, and Harry "Hap" Burns and his wife, Carol, of Butler, and her several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Bollinger.
Campbell - The friends of Nancy J. Campbell, who passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora.
Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora, with the Rev. Joseph Boomhower, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillview Cemetery, Kepples Corners.
