Mary G. Howarth
Mary G. Howarth, 90, of Chicora died at 3 a.m. Monday at the Chicora Medical Center.
Born Feb. 9, 1923, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Elizabeth Gormon Howarth.
She worked at the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. and later worked and lived in California for 42 years. She worked 11 years as a secretary at Republic Studios and 21 years at Universal Studios.
She is survived by close friends Marie and Beverly Geibel of Chicora.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jane Howarth and Elizabeth Jane Howarth.
HOWARTH - Friends of Mary G. Howarth, who died Monday, May 20, 2013, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.
The funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Pudichery, pastor of the Mater Dolorosa Church, Chicora. Interment will be private in Northside Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh
