Margaret Carole Scott, 77, of Butler, formerly of Chicora, PA. died unexpectedly Monday, June 13, 2022 in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Saint Helens, Merseyside, England in the historic county of Lancashire, April 21, 1945 the daughter of the late Paul Glenn Price and the late Margaret Hackett Price. Margaret was a 1962 graduate of Karns City High School.

She married Ronnie L. Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie L. Scott, a daughter, Diane M. Clark of Butler; 2 sons: Jimmy Mershimer of Butler, and Dewayne (Sue) Mershimer of West Sunbury; 4 grandchildren: Mariah Clark, Sydnie Mershimer, Karlie Curran, Justin Mershimer. 5 sisters: Sandra Price of Connecticut, Pauline (Albert) Kelly of Butler, Barbara Hile of Chicora, Mary Harnish of Chicora, Colleen Sherer of Chicora. A brother, Christopher (Mary) Price of Chicora.

She is preceded in death by a son, Michael Mershimer, a grandson, Colin Clark; 2 brothers: Michael Price and Ed Price. A sister: Patricia Huff.

She touched the heart of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness. She will be forever missed by all.

Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 with Blessing Services following at 8 p.m. at STEIGHNERFUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock Street, Chicora, PA. officiated by Father Jim Kurtz.
