Lillian G. Neff, age 84, passed away  Sunday, November 23, 2008, at her home following an illness

She was born July 20, 1924, in Oakland Township, Butler County, PA the daughter of Leo and Flora Forquer Benson.

She had worked for the Egg Plant and then The Castle Rubber plant, both in East Butler. , North Oakland, Chicora, PA.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Catholic Church .  She married the love of her life, Elmer F. Neff on April 18, 1949 he died May 27, 1999.

She is survived by 6 daughters: Linda Neff; Karen and Gordon Crissman; Peggy and Douglas Lipsius ; Tammy Neff; Donna Neff; and Nancy Neff

4 sons: Daniel and Janice Neff; Donald and Edna Mae Neff; Kevin Neff, Roy Neff

6 Grandchildren: Sheila Danny and Curt Neff; Leslie and Matthew Lipsius; and Roxanne Crissman

1 sister-in-law: Mildred Benson.

Lillian was the last surviving member of her immediate family,; and is preceded in death by 6 brothers and 5 sisters.

There was a mass of christian burial at 11 a.m.  on November 28, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chicora, PA with her nephew Father Richard Karenbauer and Father Steven Neff officiating.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Oakland, Chicora, PA
