Kathleen R. Double
Kathleen R. Double, 88, of Sugarcreek Township, East Brady, died at 11:45 p.m. Monday in Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.
Born Jan. 17, 1925, in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Kepple Sr. and Vernie Crawford Kepple.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora. Kathleen enjoyed her pets and gardening.
On Oct. 5, 1946, she married William J. Double in Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, Chicora. He died Nov. 14, 1998.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Double of East Brady; her brothers, George and Edyce Kepple of Butler, Don and Lois Kepple of Chicora and James and Loretta Kepple of Worthington; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Kepple Jr.
DOUBLE - Private funeral services for Kathleen R. Double, who died Monday, June 17, 2013, were at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 113 E. Slippery Rock at Main streets, Chicora, with the Rev. Vaughn Taylor, officiating. Private burial services immediately followed in Mount Pleasant Lutheran Cemetery, Chicora.
