Katherine L. "Kathy" Clouse, 64, of the Village of North Oakland, Chicora, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at her home while leaving for church.
Born in Butler on Feb. 23, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Helen E. Lucas Clouse.
She bussed tables at Long John Silvers in Butler for 23 years. She was a lifetime member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, North Oakland, Chicora.
Kathy had a special "knack" for putting together interesting and delicious meals.
She is survived by her brothers, James (Rana) Clouse, Edward (Sandy) Clouse, and Larry (Linda) Clouse, all of Butler, and several nieces and nephews.
Kathy is preceded in death by her sister, Ann Clouse, who died May 31, 2006.
Clouse - The friends of Katherine L. "Kathy" Clouse, who passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.
A funeral Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Joseph Pudichery at the Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, North Oakland, Chicora. Immediately following the Mass, she will be laid to her eternal rest in the family lot across from the church in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery.
