Joyce M. Reep, 73, of Butler passed away at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday at the Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg following an illness.
She was born in Herman on June 6, 1941, to the late Martin Karenbauer and Dorothy Steighner Karenbauer.
She was a member of the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Butler. She enjoyed camping, playing bingo and being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, William Reep, who she married on June 24, 1961; her daughters, Lisa Huff and her husband, John, of Prospect, and Linda Cottage and her husband, Brian, of Butler; her son, Mike Reep and his wife, Regina, of Harrisburg; her grandsons, Jacob Cottage, Zane Huff and Julian Reep; her stepgranddaughter, Melissa Eppinger and her husband, Jim, of Butler; her brother, Dale Karenbauer and his wife, Marge, of Herman; and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Reid Karenbauer.
Reep - The friends of Joyce M. Reep, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, 1004 N. Main St. Ext., Butler.
