John Arthur Bieber, age 77 of Chicora, Pennsylvania passed on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in VNA Inpatient Hospice Butler after an illness.

He was born October 6, 1940 in Middle Lancaster, PA. to the late John Alfred Bieber and Bertha Helen Herstine Bieber.

He was a graduate of Moniteau School, and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Chicora for 68 years.

He is survived by a brother Donald of East Liverpool, Ohio. Two sister: Helen of Chicora, and Naomi of Butler. Several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Friends received 2-5 p.m. Sunday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, Chicora, PA.

Monday 10 a.m. to time of service at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Chicora, PA.

At Zion Lutheran Church, Chicora officiated by Ginger Ditullio.

Burial will be in Zion English Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Middle Lancaster, Butler County, PA
