John L. Bacher, 84, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Butler and Chicora, passed away Aug. 10 in Florida.
John proudly served his country from June 30, 1948, to June 25, 1952, in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Bacher- The relatives and friends of John L. Bacher, who passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, are invited to a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
Full military honors will be provided by members of the Chicora VFW, the Chicora American Legion and the Bradys Bend American Legion.
Following the services, John's family asks guests to please join them for lunch and memory sharing at the Oneida Valley Fire Department, 301 Oneida Valley Road, Butler.
