Jean E. Schmitt, age 50, of Bessemer, PA. passed away, Monday, August 7, 2023 in UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle, PA. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, Sunday, September 24, 1972 the daughter of the late William Kaiser and the late Jean (Umstead) Kaiser.

She graduated from High School in 1991, then attended 2 years of college receiving a certificate in Medical Coding and Billing. She then worked 20 years for H&R Block preparing taxes.

Jean is survived by her husband, the love of her life, James Karl Schmitt, Jr.

2 sons: James Karl Schmitt, III and William Charles Schmitt.

4 sisters, a brother, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, William Kaiser, and her mother, Jean (Umstead) Kaiser she is preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be held  on Saturday, August 12, 2023----- 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

WASHINGTON UNION ALLIANCE CHURCH, 2119 WEST WASHINGTON STREET, NEW CASTLE, PA, 16101

Burial of cremains will be in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora, PA.
