Francis G. Neff, 86, of North Oakland, Chicora, PA.  died, unexpectedly at his residence Thursday, June 12, 2025.

He was born October 10, 1938 in Chicora, to Philip and Josephine Angert Neff.

He honorably served 2 years for his country in the ARMY.

He was a mechanic and worked at Pullman, and retired from Walch Equipment, Inc. in Prospect after 20 years.

Francis was blessed with innumerable skills that he used to build his beautiful home and garage for the comfort of his lovely family.

He was a wonderful father who liked being outdoors; and always had a story ready to share.

Survived by his wife: Shirley Barrington Neff whom he married Sept 25, 1965.

Daughters: Patricia Neff - East Brady

Cindy and Jason Anderson - Renfrew

Cathy Neff - Chicora

Son: Carl Neff - Chicora

8 Grandchildren

1 Brother: Victor Neff-Chicora

1Sister: Mary Ann and Jim Young-Chicora

3 Great-grandchildren

Funeral Services Monday 10 a.m. June 16, 2025 St. Joseph Catholic Church, N. Oakland Chicora.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery-North Oakland.
