Dennis K. Steighner, age 57 of Petrolia, PA died unexpectedly Sunday, September 1, 2019 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following a car accident. He was born in Natrona Heights Thursday, March 29, 1962 the son of the late Kenneth F. Steighner and the late Eleanor E. Orris Steighner.

He made his living as a landscaper. He enjoyed being with his family. Was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathy L. (Ace) Steighner whom he married on Saturday, April 9, 1988. 2 daughters: Sylvia  Homison and her fiancé Heath Confer of Chicora; Jessica Steighner of Petrolia. A step- granddaughter: Tara Confer, and 2 grandchildren: Evelynn Confer, and Errin Confer, and Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by an infant sister, Carol Ann Steighner, and brothers: LaVern Steighner and Gary Steighner.

Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday, September 5, 2019 at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Main and East Slippery Rock Streets, Downtown Chicora, PA.

Funeral service will be at 11 A.M. Friday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME with Reverend Joseph Boomhower officiating.

Cremation services are entrusted to STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Chicora, PA.
