Charles H. Texter, age 56 of Chicora, PA. went home to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born June 4, 1959 in Butler, PA.

He is survived by twin sons, Stephen and Christopher Texter and a daughter, Katie. 7 grandchildren, his brothers, Ralph Texter, Aaron Texter and his wife Kathy; a sister, Marcia Ligas and her husband Kenn; a brother-in-law, Gary Grove, and a very special loving caretaker and friend, Laurie Powell, many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin E. and Viola Grace Texter and his twin sister, Cheryl Grove.

Family and friends received on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets in Downtown Chicora, PA. with Reverend John Pistorius, officiating.

Everyone is asked to meet at the STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME at 9 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 and proceed to West Freedom Cemetery, Spring Road,Clarion County , West Freedom, PA. for the committal service.
