Carole D'Ann (Rodgers) Francis 86, of Chicora, Pennsylvania, passed away Christmas Day, December 25, 2024 at Advanced Care Center of Butler, PA; she was born in Chicora, January 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Victor and Allene (Hilliard) Rodgers

Carole was valedictorian of her 1955 graduating class of Chicora High School. She was a member of the Chicora Alliance Church.  As a teenager she worked at the Soda Fountain in the Chicora Drug Store, and a teller at Mellon Bank in Chicora for 41 years; later working at the Butler Court House.

She is survived by her 3 children:

Cindy Ferris (Jim Jewart)

Mark Francis and his wife Chantel

Jeff Francis and his wife Tyra

All of Chicora.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Monday

Funeral services will be at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024 with Reverend Mark Wallace officiating, followed by interment in Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora, PA
