William F. Reep, age 83 of Butler, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 02, 2019, surrounded by his family in Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, PA. He was born Monday, May 18, 1936 in Butler the son of the late Charles “Buster” Reep and the late Sarah Patten Reep.
He was a farmer for many years and more recently was a truck driver for Triangle Gas in Butler Township where he retired. He was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He married Joyce M. Karenbauer June 24, 1961; she died August 26, 2014.
He enjoyed fishing, camping in Erie with his wife. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean War era.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa (John) Huff of Prospect, PA and Linda (Brian) Cottage of Butler, PA; a son Michael (Regina) Reep of Harrisburg, PA; 3 grandsons: Jacob Cottage, Zane Huff, Julian Reep; a step-granddaughter Melissa (James) Eppinger; a step-great granddaughter Evelyn Eppinger of Butler, PA; a brother Charles (Norma) Reep of Butler, PA, 2 half sisters, Virgina (Don) Crocker of North Carolina, Carol Kregar of North Carolina; an uncle LaVerne Patten of Butler, and several nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Karenbauer Reep, and a sister Mildred Ombres;
Friends will be received 4-7 p.m. Friday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Corner of 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, Chicora, PA
Mass of Christian Burial 10 A.M. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, McKean Street, Butler, PA with Reverend Daniel Warusvewski officiating.
