Robert C. Ritzert

Robert C. Ritzert, 51 of Penn Township, Renfrew, PA, formerly of Chicora, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home, after a short illness with cancer, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Chicora, PA August 2, 1965 to the late Charles G. and Lois Bowser Ritzert.

He worked in maintenance for Fruehauf Manufacturing of Portersville, PA where the company made signs and water-jet machines. He enjoyed working on his trucks, relaxing with a ‘cold one’ and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Alison Blasko Ritzert whom he married November 16, 1983. 2 daughters: Crystal Ritzert of Arnold, PA, Nikki Ritzert of Gaitherburg, Maryland. Grandson Chase Miller of Arnold, a granddaughter Evelyn Zamule of Arnold. A brother Ronald and Lori Ritzert of Karns City, PA.  Two sisters Lena Ritzert of Florida, Rachel Martin of Florida, a half-sister Linda Gadinez of Florida and several nieces and nephews and his pet dogs Peanuts and Molly.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant daughter Jennifer Ritzert who died in January 1992, a sister Robin Ritzert and a half-brother Donny Retis.

There will be no visitation or viewing.  Services and interment will be private.

Arrangements are entrusted to STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME of 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, Chicora, PA.
