Patricia M. (Gschwind) Karenbauer

Patricia M. Karenbauer, age 76 of Butler, PA passed away quietly at her home on Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA April 29, 1941, the daughter of Regis and Marie Sedlack Gschwind. She enjoyed gardening, visiting the sick, cats, wildlife, and feeding the birds.  Pat graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Pittsburgh. 

She married Donald Karenbauer who died in January 20, 2010.

She is survived by one sister: Celine Kohler of Pittsburgh, a step-daughter: Connie and Mark Vicario of Airville, York, PA, step-granddaughter Brittany Karenbauer, step-grandson Shane Reed and a step-grandson Ryan Schramm of Toledo, Ohio. Several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

In addition to her husband, mother and father she is preceded in death by a son, Ken Karenbauer, a step-grandson Jason Schramm and a brother, Regis Gschwind.

Friends received STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, Downtown Chicora, PA. from 6-8 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2018 with Funeral Services following at 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Thompson officiating.
