Mabel Hackbarth Obituary

Mabel G. Hackbarth, age 99, of Chicora, Pennsylvania died at home, Monday, March 18, 2019 after an illness. She was born October 15, 1919 in Harmarville, Allegheny County, the daughter of the late William E. Kiser and the late Cora L. Robb Kiser.

She worked a short time at Bantam Jeep Co., then at Moonlight Mushroom Mine in Worthington where she retired.

She married Ralph Burns, who died in 1963 then married Richard D. Hackbarth on April 17, 1965 who died May 27, 1995.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Mrs Joanne (Ronald) Keith of Fenelton, Mrs. Ruth (Kenneth) Claypoole of Chicora, and a son, James Burns of Fenelton. 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren, a sisiter, Bernice Pistorius of Slippery Rock.

Mabel is preceded in death by a son Gerald Burns, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

There will be no public visitation. Funeral service and interment will be private.
