Albert C. Pettigrew

Albert C. Pettigrew age 85 of Uniontown, formerly of Chicora, PA, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Laurel Ridge Nursing Home in Uniontown. Born August 24, 1931 in Brady’s Bend Township, Armstrong County, the son of the late Robert Pettigrew and Hattie Zahniser Pettigrew.

He worked for C. and K. Coal Company in Clarion County until the plant closed in the 1970’s.

He was married to Helen D. Pettigrew, who died December 14, 1998.

He is survived by daughters: Debbie L. Myers and Sharon K. Myers. Sons: Matthew Pettigrew, Randy Pettigrew and Carl Pettigrew. A sister, Delphine (Leslie, deceased) Delaney of Sugar Creek.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.

There will be no visitation. Services and interment in Oak Grove Cemetery will be private with Reverend Joseph Boomhower officiating.
