Theresa M. (Horneman) Francisco

Theresa M. Francisco, age 91, of Chicora, formerly of Parker, PA. passed away peacefully at 6 a.m. Thursday morning, July 7, 2016, surrounded by her family in the Chicora Medical Center.

She was born in Parker Township, Butler County July 27, 1924 to the late John L. and Dorothy A. Redic Horneman.

She was a member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. She married James W. Francisco, June 1, 1946.  He died May 11, 2004.

She was a homemaker and is survived by a daughter, Brenda Callihan and her husband Paul; a son, Brent Francisco and his wife Bernadette, 2 granddaughters, Heather and Lisa Francisco. A grand puppy, Beau, 2 brothers: Raymond and Ronald Horneman of Arizona, numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a brother and infant daughter.

Friends received at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, Corner of 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main Streets, Chicora, PA. from 9 a.m. til 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 409 Main Street, Chicora, PA. with Father Rick Thompson, pastor officiating.

Private burial will be in Parker Presbyterian Cemetery, 100 Hickory Street, Armstrong County,  Parker, PA 16049
