Marilyn L. (Miller) Hilderbrand

Marilyn L. Hilderbrand, age 94, of Fenelton, PA. passed on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center, Butler, PA. Born in Philadelphia, Tuesday, July 24, 1923 the daughter of the late Earl Melville Miller and the late Helen Torbert Miller.

She was a member of Saint John’s Evangelical Roman Catholic in Coylesville, PA. As avid sports fan she enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and loved her family and was very loyal in attending her grandsons sporting activities. She was a member of the Chicora Senior Center.

She married James Hilderbrand September 19, 1944 who died January 30, 2005.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane and Michael Dudash of Hollywood, Florida; a son David and Shirley Hilderbrand of Fenelton. Grandchildren: David and Shannon Hilderbrand, Brian Hilderbrand, Natali Mueller, Doug Ray, Brad and Katie Ray, great-grandchildren: Lauren, Ashley, Harrison, Noah, Jared, Will, Ainsley, and Zoey.

Friends received Monday, January 15, 2018, 3-8 p.m. at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, corner of Main and E. Slippery Rock Streets, Downtown Chicora, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint John Church in 668 Clearfield Road, Coylesville/Fenelton, PA. 11 a.m. Tuesday with Father Matt McClain officiating.

Interment will be in Saint John’s Cemetery, Coylesville/Fenelton, PA.
