Kenneth E. 'Gene' Brown Sr.

Kenneth E. ‘Gene’ Brown Sr. 63 of Edinburg, PA. formerly of Chicora, PA. died early Friday morning October 27, 2017 at his residence following an illness. Born in Kaylor, Armstrong County, PA. Wednesday,  June 23, 1954 the son of the late Merle Jackson Brown and Catherine E. Corbett Brown.

He was a welder for Ty-Brook of Eau Claire for several years; David Joseph Company for 9 years cutting railroad cars; Food Arena which is now Giant Eagle in Butler for 10 years; Wal-Mart for 10 years until he became disabled.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and demolition derby, watching Blue Bloods, and John Wayne movies, and listening to country music.

He married Sandra L. Iman Brown June 27, 1975. She died December 4, 2015. He is survived by a daughter Diana and Gregg Berry---of Chicora, PA. Two sons, Randall and Anna Rottman---of Chicora, PA. Kenneth ‘Bo’ Brown Jr. ---Edinburg, PA. 4 Grandchildren, Rachell Rottman, Leah Rottman, Zane Rottman, Emily Berry. 6 brothers, Bill Brown---Boardman, Ohio, Robert and Tena Brown---Corsica, PA.  Frank and Linda Brown---Culpepper, VA. Denny and Janet Brown---Scranton, David ‘Chick’ and Janice ‘Tootie’ Brown---Reading, PA.  Steve ‘Dud’ Brown---Culpepper, VA. 2 sisters, Kathy and Phillip Dorr---Butler, PA. Barbara and Paul Smith---Karns City, PA. 2 sisters-in-law Pamela and Thomas Knox---Bossier City, Louisiana, Lynda Brown---Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by a brother Thomas Brown..
