Jean M. (Mackey) Adams

Jean M. Adams, 89, formerly of Petrolia and Chicora, died Monday, May 23, 2011 in Butler Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.

She worked as a beautician for Christy's Beauty Shop in Butler for six years.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicora.  She enjoyed sewing on plastic canvas, camping in Erie and being with her children, grandchildren and friends.

Married: October 16, 1943 in  Manchester, Tennessee
Died:    February 27, 2008

Friends received Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Steighner Funeral Home, downtown Chicora from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora from 10 - 11 a.m. with services held at 11 a.m. with Reverend Joseph Boomhower, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Cemetery, Route 268, Chicora, PA.
